Monday was the first day of Pool Play, and for 4 teams, it was a big day!
On Lyons Field, fans saw a 2 – 10 run games as Canada rolled up 10 unanswered runs to beat Southeast, 10-0, then Southwest outscored Latin America 10-1 to take the late game.
Over on Layton Field, The Host Delaware District 3 team fought off a tough East Team, 8-5. In the late game, Central used timely hitting and 2 triples to beat the West team 7-3.
Tuesday’s Games feature a rematch of the two teams that played in the 2022 Final: Southwest and DE District 3. That game is at 8 PM on Lyons Field. In the other games there, Europe-Africa, Central, Southeast and East will try to pick their first wins.
On Layton 3 games feature our international teams from Canada, Latin America and Asia Pacific.
All the Day 2 action starts at 3 PM at the 2023 Little League Senior Softball World Series, at the Lower Sussex Little League complex in Roxana, Delaware.
