After the most exciting World Series finale, I think we have ever had, I would like to thank everyone that had a part in making the 2023 World Series a success.
This year’s series turned out to be one of the smoothest in our 20-year/18 World Series history.
The people who were on site and in the Atlantic Inn did a great job all week. The local Lions clubs stepped up and filled in on the nights we were short on volunteers. They did a great job. If you see any of the club members from Laurel Lions Club, Millsboro Lions Club and the Lord Baltimore Lions Club please thank them for us.
Lower Sussex Little League had local churches and other community volunteers stepping up to help with the concession stand needs. Their help was also greatly appreciated.
Finally, we could not have had the World Series without our sponsors . We all want to thank them for their investment in Little League Softball.
