Williamsport and Lycoming County

Williamsport and Lycoming County offer a variety of activities and fun for family members of all ages. If you are an outdoor enthusiast, Lycoming County is definitely the place for you. As the largest county in Pennsylvania, the outdoor activities are plentiful. There are sporting events, campgrounds, trails for hiking, biking and ATV riding, areas for hunting, fishing, boating and more. Make some time to enjoy all the activities Lycoming County has to offer.

Many areas of Williamsport and the surrounding communities are well-known for hospitality and beautiful settings. The Williamsport/Lycoming Chamber of Commerce has a Visitor Bureau Information Booth located next to Volunteer Stadium. It will have information about things to see and do in our local area. The main visitor information center is located at 102 W. Fourth Street, Williamsport, PA 17701.

You can get information on many of these places in the Visitors Guide. Also, some of the family theme park attractions located within two to three hours driving time are Hershey Park, Knoebel’s Amusement Resort, and Dorney Park.
