The Challenger Program is designed for Physically and Mentally Challenged players (girls and boys) from 4 to 22 years of age. The program was established in 1989 to make the game of baseball accessible and fun for boys and girls with physical and mental challenges. The programs success has grown the program to more than 30,000 participants over 900 Challenger Divisions worldwide. The reward of volunteering for this program is an experience we hope to give each of our Junior Softball World Series Participants.
A two (2) team Challenger Program exhibition game Sponsored by Les Schwab, will be held at the Junior Softball World Series on Thursday August 1 at 10:45 a.m. We hope the players come out and volunteer and the parents COME ON OUT AND SUPPORT THESE KIDS AND ENJOY THE GAME! This is an experience the players and volunteers will never forget!
