Mid-Atlantic Edges Southwest, 2-1

Both teams were strong on the mound Sunday, but Mid-Atlantic defeated Southwest 2-1. Mid-Atlantic pitchers allowed just three hits to Southwest.

Gregory Bruno earned the win for Mid-Atlantic. He allowed three hits and one run over five and a third innings, striking out six. Chris Bedford threw two-thirds of an inning in relief out of the bullpen. Chris recorded the last two outs to earn the save for Mid-Atlantic.

Ryan Selvaggi took the loss for Southwest. He allowed two hits and two runs over two and a third innings, striking out six and walking one.

Chris, Steven Martinez, and Robert Cavalieri all had one hit to lead Mid-Atlantic. Mid-Atlantic didn’t commit a single error in the field. Chris Cancel had the most chances in the field with eight.

Southwest was sure-handed in the field and didn’t commit a single error. Andy Guy had the most chances in the field with eight.
