2018 Little League Baseball World Series – August 16 – 26

Southeast Defeats Northwest, 3-0

Both teams were strong on the mound on Saturday, but Southeast was just a little bit stronger at the plate in a victory over Northwest on Saturday. Braeden Newby started the game for Northwest and recorded 15 outs.

A single by Chase Saunders in the fourth inning was a positive for Northwest.

LLBWS Tournament

Tai Peete took the win for Southeast. He went three innings, allowing zero runs on one hit, striking out five and walking one. Connor Riggs-Soper threw three innings in relief out of the bullpen. Connor recorded the last nine outs to earn the save for Southeast.

Braeden took the loss for Northwest. He allowed eight hits and two runs over five innings, striking out six and walking one.

Chase went 2-for-2 at the plate to lead Northwest in hits.

Southeast tallied ten hits in the game. Tai and Chase Fralick all managed multiple hits for Southeast. Tai led Southeast with three hits in four at bats.

Southeast didn’t commit a single error in the field. Chase had eight chances in the field, the most on the team.
