Blue Star Museums – 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Armed Forces Day through Labor Day

The Museum joins about 2,000 museums nationwide that offer special rates or complimentary tickets for active military and up to five family members as part of this program.

Have a Catch for Father’s Day – Noon to 3 p.m. June 16, 2019

Dads are free and anyone who has a Museum ticket will have the option to go onto the outfield grass of Lamade Stadium to play catch for 10 minutes. All participants need to be named on a completed waiver/release. The stadium is open only between noon and 3 p.m. Museum open 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

“Hometown Teams,” Smithsonian Exhibit/Lecture Series June 29 – Sept. 8, 2019

Exhibit at Pennsylvania College of Technology Madigan Library, co-hosted by World of Little League Museum. Local sports artifacts by members of Historical Organizations of Lycoming County. FREE. Related Lecture Series at World of Little League Museum.

Little League Baseball World Series – Aug. 15-25, 2019

The World of Little League Museum and Official Store offers extended hours most days during the LLBWS. The Museum is open from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. during the series, except for Aug. 18, 23 and 25, when it will close at 5 p.m. Book signing by Adrienne Falzon, “It’s Not Fair!,” Aug. 21. Museum Day Live! – Saturday, Sept. 21, 2019

This is an annual celebration of boundless curiosity hosted by Smithsonian Magazine. Entry is free here and at other participating museums with a Museum Day Live! ticket. Open 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Find additional information at www.smithsonianmag.com/museumday/

Every Day is Veterans Day – 9 to 5 p.m. daily

Military active duty and veterans and their families are invited to visit the Museum for free throughout the year. The Museum is open 9 to 5 p.m. daily with the exception of some Federal holidays. Check Facebook/LittleLeagueMuseum for updates.

Kids’ Day – 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. – Nov. 16, 2019

Take the opportunity to meet with non-profit youth organizations, learn about their programs AND visit the World of Little League Museum for free at this event co-hosted by Public Media WVIA. A surprise guest sponsored by WVIA. Fun activities for children. Museum is open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Toys for Tots Collection Site Nov. 18 to Dec. 13, 2019

Bring a new, unwrapped toy valued at $10 or more before Dec. 12 to the museum and receive one free admission (a great stocking-stuffer!). All items benefit Lycoming County residents. The Museum is open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Check Facebook/LittleLeagueMuseum for updated schedule.

Santa Visit – Dec. 8, 2019 – noon to 3 p.m.

Meet with Santa Claus. While you are here, tour the Museum at no charge. Bring a camera for photographs. The Museum is open 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Closed Dec. 24, 25 and 31, 2019, and Jan. 1, 2020.
