Little League® International announced the addition of its newest Official Sponsor, Chick-fil-A. With the partnership, Chick-fil-A becomes the official Quick-Service Restaurant of Little League Baseball and Softball.
Over the past few years, local Little League programs throughout the United States have also been working with local Chick-fil-A operators to coordinate special fundraising activities, host special events, and provide needed funding in their local communities. Through this official partnership with Chick-fil-A, Little League International will be able to provide additional support, resources, and financial opportunities through grant programs to its local leagues while remaining committed to providing fun, healthy opportunities for all children and adult volunteers in communities around the world.
Recently, Chick-fil-A has risen to the top of the ranks in its industry in terms of customer satisfaction and has been especially popular among younger generations. A leader in customer service satisfaction, consumers voted Chick-fil-A, Inc. #4 in Harris Poll’s annual corporate reputation survey, ranking the company 4th out of 100 in 2018. Chick-fil-A was also recognized for customer experience again in the 2018 Temkin Experience Ratings survey, was named “Best Franchise Brand” in 2018 by Airport Revenue News, and was named one of the top 100 best places to work by Glassdoor in 2017.
In addition to its dedicated support to local leagues throughout the year, Chick-fil-A will join Little League International’s Official Sponsors inside the Family Fun Zone at the Little League Baseball® World Series on August 16-26, 2018, with fun and exciting on-site activations. Their on-site location in Williamsport will serve as the home to the only Chick-fil-A food service in all of Lycoming County exclusively during the World Series and the only place to enjoy Chick-fil-A products within 35 miles of the Little League International Complex. Along with their on-site service for fans, Chick-fil-A will also be hosting an exclusive dinner at the Little League Baseball World Series for all players and coaches on August 13.
For more than 70 years, Little League® has partnered with major corporations on a national level to help keep the costs for our local Little Leagues to a minimum and to provide unparalleled benefits and resources to those member leagues. Sponsors help local leagues operate smoothly, provide training resources for coaches, offset expenses for educational initiatives, offer grant programs for leagues in need, assist in supporting tournament costs, and provide opportunities and knowledge in fundraising, operations, nutrition, and safety. In short, sponsors help leagues offer the best programs possible, so players and volunteers can have a fun and rewarding Little League experience.
