WHAT TO EXPECT:
This clinic is an in depth study of the 2019 playing rules for all divisions of baseball and softball. It is strictly a rules clinic, and is designed for managers, coaches, board members, and umpires. Knowledgeable instructors will examine each of the playing rules in both the baseball and softball rule book. Many of the rules will apply to both sports. Your training will include the latest rule interpretations from the 2019 rule books and open discussions on each part of the playing rules to improve your working knowledge.
The Central Region Training staff of instructors is made up of volunteers who have extensive knowledge umpiring and holding positions on the board at the local league level. Anyone interested in learning and understanding the playing rules is strongly encouraged to attend this clinic.
PLEASE NOTE: THERE WILL NOT BE A MECHANICS SESSION IN THIS CLINIC.
Central Region Leadership Trainings are provided as a service to members of chartered Little League organizations. Volunteers must be at least 18 years of age to attend these trainings.
