*** Little League Baseball® New England Region Tournament ***

The game on Tuesday, August 6th between Maine and Vermont at 1:00 pm will once again be televised on (NESN).
The game was originally changed on Thursday, August 1 to air on (NESNplus).
Average August temperatures in Williamsport, Pennsylvania range from highs around 90 degrees to lows around 60 degrees. Cool clothing, hats, and sunscreen are recommended.

The facilities at the Little League Baseball® World Series Complex include:

  • Automated Teller Machines – Located at Stadium Gift Shop and The World of Little League
  • Concession Stands – Open 9 a.m. to the end of the last game
  • Family Fun Zone
  • First Aid
  • Gift Shops - Open daily at 9 a.m. – Closed Friday, August 23, 2013 (hours subject to change)
  • Howard J. Lamade Stadium – Open 1 hour prior to game time
  • Lost and Found
  • Parking
  • Security Gates – Open daily at 9 a.m. (subject to change)
  • The World of Little League; Peter J. McGovern Little League Museum and Official Store

  • Volunteer Stadium - Open 1 hour prior to game time
Each stadium is handicap accessible, with ramps and seating locations available for visitors in wheelchairs.

Stadium ushers (wearing green shirts ), stationed at each entrance tunnel are available to guide handicapped visitors to the handicap seating areas.

Benches marked with the "handicapped" symbol serve as the designated "pick-up" and "drop-off" points.

  • Pavilion near concession stands

These locations are to be used ONLY by those visitors who need assistance to the stadiums, or visitor parking areas located at the South Williamsport Sports Complex (East Mountain Ave.) and off U.S. Route 15 Hwy.

  • Visitors to the World Series with physical disabilities have access to a shuttle service at various identified locations throughout the complex.
  • Shuttle seating is on a first-come, first-serve basis.
  • Shuttle seating for other members accompanying a handicapped visitor is not guaranteed due to limited seating.
  • Limited shuttle seating may require a handicapped visitor to wait for the shuttle to return.

During the Little League Baseball® World Series, please keep the following information in mind for your safety and enjoyment.

The following list of items will be PROHIBITED on the premises:

  • Alcohol or Illegal Drugs
  • Large Coolers
  • Pets
  • Fireworks
  • Skateboards
  • Bicycles
  • Rollerblades
  • Scooters
  • Noisemakers
    (ex: vuvuzelas, thunder sticks, air horns, etc.)
  • Tarps, Tents or Canopies
  • Flammable materials or Incendiary devices
  • Beach Umbrellas
    (small umbrellas 42” or less will be permitted)
  • Large Bags or Containers
  • Solicitation
  • Laser Pointers
  • Roller Blades
  • Weapons of any kind
  • Pocket Knives or Guns
  • Utility Tools
    (blades longer than 3”)
  • Containers with Liquid
    (cans, plastic and aerosol containers)
  • Aerosal containers


  • Smoking and use of smokeless tobacco products are prohibited on the Little League International complex.
  • We reserve the right to remove from or deny access to Little League property any item, individual, or group whose actions are deemed inappropriate.
  • All items brought to the complex are subject to inspection.
    There will be no claim check for prohibited items at the entry points.
    Personal items are to be removed daily from the complex.
  • Security gates open daily at 9AM (time is subject to change)
  • Stadiums will open 1 hour prior to game time.
  • There will be NO claim check for prohibited items at the entry points.
    All permitted items will be subject to search.

SCREENING PROCEDURES:

All patrons entering the World Series complex will be required to pass through Metal Detectors.
  • Containers of liquid for infants (i.e. baby bottles, formula) will be permitted, but are subject to inspection.
  • Sunscreen in its original container will be permitted but is subject to inspection. (Aerosol containers of sunscreen are NOT permitted).

For those in need of medical assistance, a First Aid Station is located on the first-base side of Howard J. Lamade Stadium.

For your personal safety, we ask that you exercise due care at all times. Also, please be reminded that under wet conditions the grounds may become slippery; take appropriate precautions.

Please observe scoreboards/message boards for the WEATHER WARNING sign shown above. This sign will appear in advance of inclement weather as information becomes available. When the sign appears, you are advised to take precautions even before play is suspended. Seek shelter immediately upon seeing the alert. During periods of inclement weather, you should avoid the following:

  • Bodies of Water
  • Golf Carts
  • Isolated Trees
  • Hilltops & High Places
  • Open Areas
  • Wire Fences
  • Metal Bleachers & Rails
