Umpire Clinics

After a successful transition into our new "Headquarters", Little League is pleased to annouce that the Umpire Clinics are back and in full swing. The Umpire Clinic emphasizes and offers training on field mechanics, plate mechanics as well as base mechanics.  The Clinic will also offer ways to better understand the baseball and softball rules of Little League which in turn will effectively benefit them in future game situations.

We are pleased to extend a cordial invitation to league personnel to join us in Williamsport, Pennsylvania on September 12 & 13 , 2009 and/or March 27 & 28, 2010, for a Little League Umpire Clinic. It will be held in the Dr. Creighton J. Hale International Grove, Dining Hall Recreation Room (2nd Floor).

Please join our enthusiastic Little League Instructors for this informative clinic. The cost of the clinic is $85.00 per person, payable by September 5, 2009 for the September clinic and March 14, 2010 for the March clinic.

We will accept the first 75 to register. This fee includes breakfast, lunch and dinner on Saturday, breakfast and lunch on Sunday. We will accommodate all umpires in our dormitories on the complex. All materials will be included although umpires will need to bring their own mask and a baseball glove. Clinic hours are Saturday 8:15 a.m. - 4:30 p.m., 6:00 - 7:30 p.m. and Sunday 8:15 am - noon.
