2013 Umpire Clinics

It's that time of year to start gearing up for a new baseball and softball season. Here at Little League Headquarters, we are offering two informative umpire clinics to be held in the spring and fall of 2013. The spring umpire clinic will be held March 16 - 17th, 2013 and the fall umpire clinic will be held September 14 - 15th, 2013. The umpire Clinic emphasizes and offers training on field mechanics, plate mechanics as well as base mechanics. The Clinic will also offer ways to better understand the baseball and softball rules of Little League which in turn will effectively benefit them in future game situations.

We would like to extend an invitation to league personnel and to anyone who would like to improve their umpiring skills to join us in Williamsport, Pennsylvania on March 16th & 17th, 2012 or September 14th & 15th, 2013, for a Little League Umpire Clinic. It will be held in the Dr. Creighton J. Hale International Grove, Dining Hall Recreation Room (2nd Floor).

Please join our enthusiastic Little League Instructors for this informative clinic. The cost of the clinic is $85.00 per person, payable by March 8, 2013 for the March clinic or September 6th, 2013 for the September clinic.

We will accept the first 75 to register. This fee includes breakfast, lunch and dinner on Saturday, breakfast and lunch on Sunday. We will accommodate all umpires in our dormitories on the complex. All materials will be included although umpires will need to bring their own umpire hat, indicator for balls and strikes, baseball glove, mask, and complete plate gear (if they have it). Clinic hours are Saturday 8:15 a.m. - 4:30 p.m., 6:00 - 7:30 p.m. and Sunday 8:15 am - 12 noon.
