May 2005
Among the autographed baseballs included in the collection at the
Peter J. McGovern Little League Museum is one that was used in the
first no-hit, no-run game in Little League history.
September 2005
Professional photographer Elliott Kaufman remains understandably
proud of the photographic mural of the crowd that he took minutes
prior to the start of 1982 Little League Baseball World Series
championship game at Howard J. Lamade Stadium.

Kids of all ages traded pins during the recent Little League
Baseball World Series held in Williamsport, in a tent set aside
specifically for pin traders.

One of the earliest known autographs of one of the best-hitting
catchers in baseball, Gary Carter, is in the Peter J. McGovern
Little League Museum in South Williamsport, Pa.

Many artifacts at the Peter J. McGovern Little League Museum symbolize
the spirit of the Little League Baseball World Series for all who
participate each year. Among them are a medal, pin and certificate
given to all of the players in the World Series games during the
mid-1980s, a continuing tradition honoring all participants for
dedication and teamwork on the road to Williamsport.

One of the 10 rings designed by Little League Baseball founder Carl E.
Stotz, honoring the men who were instrumental in the early
development of what has become the largest organized youth sports
program in the world, is among the artifacts on display at the Peter
J. McGovern Little League Museum.

The baseball cap has been a part of the uniform for more than 150 years,
and a part of the Little League uniform since 1939. At the Peter J.
