Does Your Local League Have a Story to Tell? Little League Wants to Know About It
Stories that appear will not focus on an individual’s or team’s on-field success. Instead, these articles will describe local league and district-wide accomplishments by league volunteers in off-field activities as they relate to participation and involvement in the Little League program. Story ideas should be sent to the attention of Christopher D. Downs, media relations manager for Little League International. Mr. Downs can be contacted via e-mail at: cdowns@littleleague.org; or by mail at: 539 U.S. Route 15 Highway, P.O. Box 3485, Williamsport, Pa. 17701. Each correspondence must include a daytime phone number for confirmation purposes. Photos of those featured are encouraged. Each photo must be accompanied by a photographer/model release, which can be obtained by contacting Little League International at: (570) 326-1921, ex. 238. If sending ideas and related materials by mail, please include a self-addressed stamped envelope. All materials will be returned after the story is posted. Published stories and photos become the property of Little League, and may be edited by Little League International for content, style and brevity. |
