Little League International Mourns the Passing of John SchneppLittle League International Mourns the Passing of John Schnepp
By Communications Division Little League International mourns the passing of John Schnepp. He was 85. Mr. Schnepp of Alto Loma, Calif., was instrumental in the conception, fund raising and building of the Western Region Little League complex in San Bernardino, Calif. A former President of Montclair Kiwanis and Past Lt. Governor of Kiwanis, Mr. Schnepp served in World War II with the Merchant Marines. He and his family owned Pizza Palace restaurants, which later became Straw Hat Pizzas and Rax Restaurants. Mr. Schnepp is survived by his wife of 66 years, Martha, and their four children and spouses, John and Margie Schnepp, Tony and Barbara Schnepp, Marsha and Phillip Hayes and David and Roberta Schnepp. They have eight grandchildren, Brian, Tenille, John, Heather, Sandra, Thomas, George and Cassandra; and 13 great grandchildren, Mariah, Miranda, Sara, Lynsey, Kaydence, Genavive, Cayson, Xavier, Justin, Michael, Khloe, Gavin and Ryan. |
