By Communications Division Little League International mourns the passing of former New York District Administrator Ralph Perricone. He was 86. For nearly 50 years, Mr. Perricone, volunteer his time as a Little League volunteer, including more than 25 years a member of the South Shore Little League (SSLL) board of directors in Staten Island N.Y. For more than 10 years, he held the volunteer position of New York 24 District Administrator, and also served as Section 24Tournament Coordinator. While volunteering as a SSLL team manager, Mr. Perricone, reached the Eastern Region Tournament in 1976 and 1977. Mr. Perricone, a native of Queens, N.Y., settled in Tottenville, N.Y., where he worked as a quality insurance inspector for the U.S. Government for more than 30 years, retiring in 1981. |
