(Aug. 18, 2012) - Juvenil de Guatemala Little League from Guatemala City, Guatemala, completed its impressive run through the 52nd Senior League Baseball World Series in Bangor, Maine, on Saturday, defeating Lemon Grove (Calif.) Little League, 6-3, to win its first championship. The Latin America Champions outscored its opponents, 39-8, to finish 5-0 in the World Series.

Little League scored two runs in the top of the eighth inning to defeat Aruba North Little League, 12-10, on Saturday to capture the 32nd Junior League Baseball World Series in Taylor, Michigan.

(Aug. 15, 2012) - Eastdale Little League from Albuquerque, N.M., left little doubt who was the best team in the 10-team Little League Softball World Series field completing a six-game sweep with a 16-1, five-inning victory over Windermere (Fla.) National Little League used two big innings to earn its first berth in the Little League Baseball World Series tonight with a 7-5 victory over Nanakuli Little League from Waianae, Hawaii, in the championship game of the Western Region Tournament. The game was played at the Little League Western Region Headquarters Complex in San Bernardino, Calif.

American Little League won all six of its games in the New England Region Tournament to earn its second trip to the Little League Baseball World Series. The Connecticut State Champions defeated Bedford (N.H.) Little League, 14-0, for the title today at the A. Bartlett Giamatti Little League Leadership Training Center in Bristol, Conn.

What makes the feat amazing is that many years earlier, Trevor battled several physical setbacks during his infant years and has continued to overcome them.

- Joplin South Little League Continues Rebuilding EffortJoplin, Mo. - (May 8, 2012) - Sunny Jim Park, the home of Joplin (Mo.) South Little League, was completely destroyed by an EF5 tornado less than one year ago. Recently, another step was taken by the league to get back on its feet. Musco Lighting Systems, a Little League sponsor since 1992, along with representatives from Capital Electric and the league recently teamed up to install a four-pole, 16-fixture lighting system.
