Little League International Board of Directors Approves Promotions for Five Senior Staff Members

The Little League International Board of Directors, at its annual meeting recently convened in South Williamsport, Pa., announced that five members of the Little League Baseball and Softball Senior Staff have received promotions.

Patrick W. Wilson, the former Vice President of Operations, assumes the title of Senior Vice President of Operations and Program Development; Elizabeth DiLullo-Brown, moves from Senior Marketing Executive to Vice President of Marketing and Strategic Partnerships; Chief Financial Officer Dave Houseknecht is now Senior Vice President of Administration and Chief Financial Officer; Melissa Singer assumes the title of Vice President and Treasurer; and Risk Management Director Dan Kirby is now the Vice President of Risk Management.

“Pat, Liz, Dave, Melissa and Dan are all exemplary employees and have demonstrated outstanding abilities and commitment to serve the Little League program,” Stephen D. Keener, President and Chief Executive Officer of Little League Baseball and Softball, said. “Drawing on their own unique talents and personalities, each has displayed their enthusiasm, appreciation and understanding for the place that Little League holds in communities throughout the world. The Little League International Board of Directors and I wanted to acknowledge their efforts and congratulate them on their respective promotions.” 

Patrick W. Wilson of Williamsport, Pa. - Senior Vice President of Operations and Program Development – previously held the title of Vice President of Operations for Little League Baseball and Softball.

• Mr. Wilson is responsible for overseeing and coordinating the operations of Little League International’s five regional centers in the United States and four abroad. Mr. Wilson is Tournament Director for the Little League Baseball World Series, and is Chairman of the Little League International Charter and Tournament Committees. He will oversee all Operations, Marketing and Communications Divisions of Little League International.

Elizabeth DiLullo-Brown of Lewisburg, Pa. - Vice President of Marketing and Strategic Partnerships – previously held the title of Senior Marketing Executive for Little League Baseball and Softball.

• Mrs. Brown oversees Little League Baseball and Softball’s marketing and licensing initiatives, and is also responsible for the operation of Little League’s retail properties, and usage of its licensed and registered trademarks.

David B. Houseknecht of Muncy, Pa. - Chief Financial Officer and Senior Vice President of Administration - previously held the title of Chief Financial Officer for Little League Baseball and Softball.

• Mr. Houseknecht is responsible for the Finance and Human Resource Departments and coordinates management of the Little League Baseball and Softball day-to-day business operations.

Melissa L. Singer of Montoursville, Pa., - Vice President and Treasurer – previously held the title of corporate Treasurer.

• Mrs. Singer works directly with the Chief Financial Officer to manage the organization’s business and administrative operations.

Daniel P. Kirby of South Williamsport, Pa. - Vice President of Risk Management – previously held the title of Director of Risk Management.

• Mr. Kirby is responsible for administering all of Little League International’s insurance programs and products, including the Little League Safety Program.

The Little League International Board of Directors acted on these promotions at its Nov. 11, 2011 annual meeting in South Williamsport.
