Little League International Mourns the Passing of New Jersey District 15 Administrator Jim Bobbitt

James Bobbitt, Sr., New Jersey District 15 Administrator, passed away on Dec. 2. He was 62.

A native of Cherry Point, N.C., Mr. Bobbitt served as a volunteer District Administrator for seven years (2004-to-present).

Moving to Mantua, N.J., in 1961, the Vietnam War Veteran was a member of the Lawson-Cox VFW Post in Mantua, served as President of the Mantua Athletic Association and founded Mantua Little League.

For more than 45 years, Mr. Bobbitt worked for DuPont Company in Deepwater, N.J. 

Mr. Bobbitt is survived by his wife, Carolyn; son, James; daughter, Cherie; four grandchildren; a sister and three brothers.
