Little League International, Baseball Factory Hit Home Run with Inaugural Little League ExperienceLittle League International, Baseball Factory Hit Home Run with Inaugural Little League Experience
The Little League Experience, hosted by Little League International and powered by Baseball Factory, was held over Memorial Day weekend, May 29-31 in South Williamsport, Pa., and gave Little Leaguers the unique opportunities to receive elite instruction and the play on the fields at the home of the Little League Baseball World Series. “We’re pleased to be teaming up with such a well-established and respected partner as Baseball Factory,” Stephen D. Keener, President and Chief Executive Officer of Little League International, said. “With player development as the focus of this program, the creation of the Little League Experience was a fine fit for our program. “Playing on the World Series fields is a unique experience for Little Leaguers,” Mr. Keener said. “Benefiting from the instruction provided by Baseball Factory instructors, made for a well-rounded and memorable time that we expect will become a special date on the Little League calendar each year.” The Little League Experience was the first of several 2010 Baseball Factory and Little League Baseball player development events. The camp provided players with the chance to improve their skills, while offering a fun learning environment that includes games at Howard J. Lamade and Volunteer Stadiums. More than 40 players (league-age 11-12) attended the inaugural event, which included instruction and training on various aspects of the game as well as tournament play. The positive response was overwhelming. Below are a couple of correspondences received by Baseball Factory a day after the Little League Experience concluded.
