International Tournament Tip of the Day – Tip 12
Managers and Coaches in the Dugout
If a tournament team has thirteen (13) or more eligible players
in a uniform at the start of a game, then the maximum of three (3)
adults who are named on the affidavit will be able to serve as
manager or coaches for that game, and be permitted in the dugout and
on the field during the game.
However, if a tournament team has twelve (12) or fewer eligible
players in uniform at the start of the game, then a maximum of two
(2) adults must be named as manager and coach prior to the start of
the game.
The two adults must be listed on the affidavit. If there is a third
name listed on the affidavit, that adult is not permitted to be in
the dugout or on the field during the game.
