International Tournament Tip of the Day – Tip 9

No “Pitch Count” in Softball

The Little League Pitch Count, implemented in 2007 to determine the eligibility of a pitcher in all divisions of Little League Baseball, does not apply to Little League Softball.

Little League Softball teams during the regular season and in tournament play continue to use the innings-pitched criteria to determine a pitcher’s eligibility.
