International Tournament Tip of the Day – Tip 5


Must Play to Advance

In order for a team to advance into a higher level tournament play, that team must play and defeat a scheduled opponent in the division of play in which the team is competing.

The exception is a team that does not have another team to play in a particular level of tournament play. In that case, the Regional Director is empowered by the Tournament Committee in Williamsport, Pa., to provide approval for that team to advance, under certain conditions.
