>What’s on TV? Little League Dominates August Lineup
WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. (Aug. 1, 2007) – Thanks to a new eight-year
television contract with ESPN, a total of 49 Little League Baseball
and Softball games will be televised nationally on the ESPN family of
networks and ABC this month.
For the first time, all eight championship games in the various
World Series tournaments of baseball and softball will be televised.
And for the 11th consecutive year, all eight finals in the Little
League Baseball Regional championships will be televised.
Below is a day-by-day account of the Little League games that can
be seen this month on television. Please contact your cable or
satellite provider if you are not able to access these networks.
