2004 Junior League Baseball World Series General Information
The 2004 Series is scheduled for August 15-21. All the games are
played at the Taylor South Little League complex at Heritage Park,
located on Pardee Road in Taylor, Michigan. The Junior League Baseball World Series is
for players ages 13-14.

The Junior League Baseball World Series has been played in Heritage
Park every year since 1981. Bleacher seating between home and first
base and third base is approximately 2,000. The hillside terraces
offer excellent viewing, and can accommodate up to 3,000 more fans.
Tickets
Admission is $3 per car per day, or $7 per car for the entire week.
Parking is included in these fees. The only ticket provided is sold
for $7 per car for the entire week, which is available upon entry. If
you plan to watch the games from the terraced hills, you may want to
bring a blanket and/or lawn chairs.
Lodging
Ample hotel space within one to three miles is available. Additional
hotel space is available at the Detroit Metropolitan Airport located
in neighboring Romulus, Mich., which is about six miles from the

Travel
If you are arriving by car, simply exit I-94 at Telegraph Road and go
south to Goddard, then east to Pardee. Or, exit I-75 at Northline Road
and go west to Pardee Road. During Tournament week a customized bus
route is utilized that visits the various hotel locations, restaurants
and other points of interest. (Note: The hotels at the Airport are not
on the bus routes.)
Refreshments/Food/Souvenirs
A wide variety of food and refreshments is available, and Junior
League Baseball World Series Souvenirs are also available. Pin Trading
is encouraged in a special area set aside for this purpose.
Television
The championship game of the Junior League Baseball World Series is
scheduled to be televised nationally, on a tape-delayed basis, on Aug.
26, at 11 a.m. (ET) on ESPN2. At this time, no other television
coverage of games is planned, although Little League International
continues to urge networks to carry the games of all World Series
tournaments. We also expect extensive media coverage from newspapers,
radio stations and television stations.
Miscellaneous
In keeping with the Little League tradition, alcohol is prohibited in
the Little League Complex. All blankets, chairs and personal items of
any kind must be removed daily. Have an enjoyable stay in Taylor, and
