Welcome! Dozens of New Leagues Chartered in 2004

Nearly 250 new leagues were chartered in Little League Baseball and Softball in 2004, with 134 of them in the U.S., 17 in Puerto Rico, 15 in Mexico, 13 in Poland, and the remainder among 30 other countries. You can see the list of all the new leagues that chartered for 2004 here: www.littleleague.org/media/newlgs2004.htm

Little League also bid a fond farewell to a number of District Administrators in 2004. We are particularly saddened by the passing of District Administrators Karen Kramer (New York District 3), Roby Armstrong (West Virginia District 8), Bill Elzey (Arizona District 1), John Timmons (Oregon District 3), Jim Shine (Oregon District 6), Mike Roberts (Oregon District 6), and Les Ledeboer (Zimbabwe District 1). A complete list of those whose time as a District Administrator ended in 2004 can be found here: www.littleleague.org/media/retireddas2004.htm
