Baseball Tomorrow Fund Awards Grants to Local Little LeaguesIn support of the ongoing commitment from Major League Baseball and the Major League Baseball Players Association to increase youth participation in baseball, the Baseball Tomorrow Fund has awarded grants to several Little League organizations in various regions of the U.S.
The Baseball Tomorrow Fund is designed to promote and enhance the growth of baseball throughout the world by funding programs, field improvements and equipment purchases to encourage and maintain youth participation in baseball and softball. Since its inception in 1999, the Baseball Tomorrow Fund has awarded grants totaling more than $9 million benefiting nearly 109,000 youth participating in more than 180 youth baseball and softball programs across the United States, Canada, Puerto Rico, Dominican Republic, U.S. Virgin Islands and Europe. For more information visit www.baseballtomorrowfund.com. Earlier this year, the Baseball Tomorrow Fund and Musco Sports Lighting reached an agreement to offer free lighting consultations and discounted lighting equipment for field construction/renovation projects to organizations funded by the Baseball Tomorrow Fund. This agreement provides Baseball Tomorrow Fund grant recipients with free consultation services and significant discounts on Musco projects. Little League International has been the recipient of grants from the Baseball Tomorrow Fund as well. Click here for a recent story and see how other local leagues might receive a grant. |
