Annual Luncheon Officially Kicks Off the 2017 Little League® World Series
Little League® International officially kicked off the 2017 Little League World Series season at its annual Little League Baseball® World Series Luncheon with the announcement of the 2017 Little League Baseball World Series schedule and first-round match-ups. The Luncheon took place on June 15 as a celebration of National Little League Week (held in the second full week of June). Along with the full schedule and bracket for the LLBWS, the official Team Host pairings and 2017 Hall of Excellence recipients were announced. Little League® Creates Video Resources to Help Local League Operations
In order to assist with the chaos of tournament season, Little League International has put together a series of educational video resources to help local leagues with their tournament operations. From tournament FAQ videos on Residency and Eligibility to understanding how to upload your tournament affidavit, Little League University and Videos.LittleLeague.org provide local leagues with useful tips from Little Leagues Regional Directors to help get ready for the heart of the tournament season.

While Tournament season in full swing, local leagues do not have to finish their regular season activities all together. Understand What’s Coming from The USA Baseball USABat Standard in 2018
With the implementation of the new USA Baseball Bat Standard in 2018, Little League® International has assembled an online resource page dedicated to baseball bat information. The landing page, found at LittleLeague.org/BatInfo, includes the latest bat information, current Little League Baseball rules and regulations governing bats, definition of terms, the moratorium on the use of composite bats, and a series of frequently asked questions, with answers and licensed bat lists.
