Beginning on December 6, Little League® Baseball and Softball will launch a new digital campaign, “Tee Ball Tuesday,” to highlight the Little League Tee Ball Program and educate coaches, parents, and volunteers.
Each Tuesday, Little League will share information, tips, and tricks to spotlight the fun, fitness, and fundamentals that is the focus of the Little League Tee Ball Program. With the biggest push on Little League’s Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram platforms, as well as on LittleLeague.org and LittleLeagueU.org, Little League will offer a series of videos, photos, infographics, stories, and other tools that will help provide support and guidance for all those involved, or interested in getting involved, with the Little League Tee Ball Program.

To aid leagues in providing a positive introduction to baseball and softball, in 2013, Little League developed a 10-week curriculum that has been shown to improve the Tee Ball experience for players, parents, and coaches. The program incorporates non-traditional drills and practice plans that focus on fun, fitness, and fundamentals. The easy-to-implement program helps first-time volunteers and seasoned coaches to shape their Tee Ball seasons and ensure their players have a meaningful, memorable first-time experience on the diamond.
New this year, Little League has also created a series of video tutorials to support parents and coaches with some of the fun drills included in the curriculum and how to successfully implement them within their program.
For the second year, all chartered Tee Ball teams are provided with a free printed copy of the curriculum, which is also available free of charge on LittleLeagueU.org. Leagues, coaches, and parents are encouraged to use the Tee Ball Curriculum in conjunction with the resources below to provide a fulfilling Little League Tee Ball experience.
