World of Little League® Museum Visitors to Receive ‘Treasure’
Throughout March, successful participants in the World of Little League® Museum’s Scavenger Hunt will find treasure in the form of a Vintage Little League World Series pin.
There are three categories: Children 10 and younger (who may team up with an adult); children ages 10-to-15; and visitors 16 and up.
Visitors will be presented with a series of questions as they tour the museum. Those who answer correctly will earn a pin. There are questions from each of the museum’s six innings (galleries).
The contest is available from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. every day in March except for Easter Sunday, March 27, when the museum is closed.
“We always look forward to our annual treasure hunt,” said Lance Van Auken, Little League Vice President and Executive Director of the World of Little League Museum. “It’s an event the whole family can enjoy as they spend some time in a world-class museum. And with the baseball and softball seasons just getting started, this is a great time to visit.”
The World of Little League: Peter J. McGovern Museum and Official Store, 525 Montgomery Pike (U.S. Route 15), is open daily from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m. General admission is $5. It is $2 for children (ages 5 through 12) and $3 for senior citizens (ages 62 and older). Children four and younger are admitted free of charge.
