Little League International mourns the passing of former Indiana District 13 Administrator Delmar Hyde. He was 80.

Born Jan. 1, 1934, Mr. Hyde served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. After 30 years, he retired in 1999 from Naval Warfare Surface Center Crane. He managed Washington Laurel Lanes and spent 48 years with the Washington Little League. Mr. Hyde was the D.A. in Indiana District 13 from 1988-2007 and was also a Central Region Tournament volunteer for many years.

Mr. Hyde is survived by his wife, Janet; two sons and daughters-in-law, Jonathan and Kimberly Hyde and Terry and Karen Breeden; grandchildren, Christina Henninger, Mike Roach, Tony Baumert, Travis Breeden, Jordan Hyde, Jalen Hyde, Jessica Williams and Bryce and Taylor Lyford; one son-in-law, Joseph Musgrave; sisters, Sharon Bauer, Monica Parsons, and Carolyn Grubb; and brothers, John Hughes, Bobby Hughes, Henry Hughes and Charlie Hughes.

He was preceded in death by a daughter, Kitrene Richelle Hyde; a granddaughter, Veronica Roach; a sister, Mary Gibson; brothers, Ralph and Cecil Hughes; and his parents, Ernest Ray Hyde and Letha Raney.
