At the spring meeting, the Little League® International Board of Directors, approved the voting results of the 2014 Little League International Congress Delegates. The results will bring 14 changes to the Little League Baseball®, Little League Softball®, and Little League Challenger Division® programs.

Some of the notable changes are:

  • Starting in the 2018 season, in all divisions of Little League Baseball and Little League Challenger Division, the age determination to December 31.
  • The Little League Challenger Division will be available to people with physical and developmental challenges, regardless of age, with the creation of the Senior League Challenger Division.
  • Little League Softball regulations to allow for more flexibility for softball pitchers, special games and doubleheaders.
