Little League International Mourns the Passing of Former New York District 30 Administrator Jack Leddy

Little League International mourns the passing of former New York District 30 Administrator John “Jack” Leddy. He was 84.

Mr. Leddy of Far Rockaway, N.Y., started his service to Little League as a member of the Island Park (N.Y.) Little League, serving as a team manager, and later as its President, prior to his election as District Administrator in 1975.

A Little League volunteer for more than 30 years, Mr. Leddy retired as NewYork District 30 Administrator in 2003.

Mr. Leddy worked for H&G Toys in Long Beach, N.Y., for more than 50 years.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Carol, and is survived by three sons, Richard, Thomas and Steven; and two daughters, Carolanne and Barbara.
