Little League® Baseball and Softball will hold its Illinois Challenger Jamboree in West Dundee, Ill., today, Friday, Sept. 6 and Saturday, Sept. 7. Open to children from throughout the state, this year, about 100 Little Leaguers® from Illinois District 13 with developmental and physical challenges will attend the event. Hosted by Tri-Cities Little League, the Illinois Challenger Jamboree will take place at Randall Oaks Fields in West Dundee, Ill.

“The Illinois District 13 Challenger Division just came back from playing at the Little League Baseball® World Series, and now we’re hosting our Jamboree just two weeks later,” said Mark Johnson, Assistant District 13 Administrator. “It’s such an exciting end to a great season, and we could not have done it without the support of our great volunteers, our community and all our families.”
