Little League International Mourns the Passing of South Carolina District 5 Administrator Danny McFaddin

Little League International mourns the passing of South Carolina District 5 Administrator Danny McFaddin. He was 52.

Mr. McFaddin served as a Little League volunteer for several years before his election as District Administrator in 2004, the same year that District 5 was created.

Born on March 3, 1961, in Kingstree, S.C., Mr. McFaddin was a graduate of Kingstree High School and attended Spartanburg Methodist College.

The Recreation Director for the Town of Kingstree, Mr. McFaddin volunteered as a baseball coach in various divisions of Little League, the Kingstree Recreation Department, and with the Williamsburg (S.C.) Academy. He was a dedicated member of Williamsburg Academy Booster Club.

Mr. McFaddin was a former Navy Seal, a former police officer with Cayce Public Safety, the Greeleyville (S.C.) Police Department, Williamsburg County Sheriff’s Department and the Kingstree Police Department.

Mr. McFaddin is survived by his son, Chase; his daughter, Hope; and brothers, Fred and Wade.
