Little League International Mourns the Passing of Former Texas District 28 Administrator Bob Shingleton

Little League International mourns the passing of former Texas District 28 Administrator Bob Shingleton. He was 71.

Mr. Shingleton served as a Little League volunteer and board member for Northwest 45 Little league beginning in 1976. In 1986, he was as a founding member of Texas District 28 and was elected District 28 Administrator in 1997. He held that position until 2003.

Also volunteering as a Little League umpire, Mr. Shingleton umpired in the Junior Baseball World Series and was an umpire evaluator for Little League’s teenage divisions during Texas state tournaments in Waco.

Mr. Shingleton is survived by his wife Barbara, son Bob, daughters Brenda and Kathy and several grandchildren.
