Little League International Mourns the Passing of Washington District 1 Administrator Tony Monfiletto, Sr.

Little League International mourns the passing of Washington District 1 Administrator, Tony Monfiletto, Sr. He was 79.

 

Mr. Monfiletto of Everett, Wash., dedicated 46 years to Little League Baseball/Softball. Beginning as a volunteer in Alderwood Little League, Mr. Monfiletto later served as Washington District 1 Administrator.

A native of Newark, N.J., Mr. Monfiletto served in the United States Air Force. He was a sheet metal worker by trade.

Mr. Monfiletto is survived by his wife of 58 years, Royetta Monfiletto; brother, Joseph Monfiletto; sister, Marie Gyenes; children Mindy Elliot, R.J. Monfiletto, Tony Monfiletto Jr., and Ty Monfiletto; grandchildren; Crystal Olson, Frank Monfiletto, Missy Elliot, Chantell Lewis, Joe Elliot, Anthony Elliot, Kyle Monfiletto, Ryan Monfiletto, Joleen Monfiletto, Angelina Monfiletto and Toni Monfiletto; and great Grandchildren; Aubrey (Elliot) Koshman and Gavin Lewis, Brother; Joseph Monfiletto (Marylou), Sister; Marie Gyenes (Gabe) and Aunt: Marie Coyne.
