‘The Perfect Game’ Receiving Positive Reviews

“The Perfect Game” makes its U.S. debut this week, and it already is receiving positive response from several movie critics.

The story of the 1957 Industrial Little League team from Monterrey, Mexico, that became the first team from outside of the United States to win the Little League Baseball World Series, made its public debut at the 25th Little League International Congress in Lexington, Ky., and will open to the general public in 500 theatres on Friday.

This feature film represents the ideals and life lessons learned through the Little League-related themes of teamwork, sportsmanship and determination. The players and their coach embark on an incredible, record-breaking winning streak that takes them across the border to the United States, and all the way to the Little League World Series in Williamsport, Pa., where a miracle will cement their place in history and change their lives forever.
