Liz DiLullo Brown Named to Marketing Position With Little League International


Liz DiLullo Brown has been named Senior Director of Marketing Partnerships for Little League International, it was announced today by Stephen D. Keener, Little League President and Chief Executive Officer.

Mrs. Brown, a native of Milford, N.J., comes to Little League International from Velocity Sports and Entertainment in Norwalk, Conn., where she was the Director Sponsorship Consulting for the last three years.  As a member of the Velocity team, she served as the lead account relationship manager, negotiating and overseeing the activation of marketing plans for such companies as Ameriprise Financial, Sports Illustrated and The Rock and Roll Marathon Series.

She also served in an integration role between Velocity and sister agency, Vivid Marketing.

While working with Velocity, Mrs. Brown also conducted research to analyze consumer attitudes, behaviors and lifestyles that was made a part of their marketing plans.  She also took the lead in developing a management training program for new Velocity employees that also included the recruitment phase of the process.

“Liz joins the Little League family highly recommended by those she worked with at Velocity,” Mr. Keener said.  “She has been successful throughout her career at recognizing and securing opportunities for companies, as well as, developing and working with those companies on the activation of successful marketing.  We welcome her to Little League and look forward to her building many strong relationships on behalf of the organization.”

In her new position with Little League International, Mrs. Brown will supervise the relationships between Little League and its corporate marketing partners, including those in sponsorship, licensing and merchandising.  During the coming year, she will evaluate marketing programs for areas of improvement and expansion.

Mrs. Brown worked for more than five years (2000-06) with RedPeg Marketing in Alexandria, Va., where she was the Director of Marketing in charge of account management for such companies as Dunkin’ Donuts, Dove, Pepsi and AOL.  She began her professional career as a Project Manager for Synergy Events in Ocean, N.J. after completing her Master’s work at East Stroudsburg University (Stroudsburg, PA.).

She earned her undergraduate degree from Kutztown University in business administration, and recently received the Career Excellence Award from her alma mater for her professional accomplishments.

Mrs. Brown and her husband, Scott, have one son, Andrew, 1.  Mrs. Brown is the granddaughter of the late, Ralph DiLullo, a respected baseball scout for many years for the Major League Scouting Bureau and the Chicago Cubs.

Little League Baseball and Softball is the world’s largest organized youth sports program, with nearly 2.7 million players and 1 million adult volunteers in every U.S. state and scores of other countries.
