Strategic Focus: Pitch In For Baseball™ helps bring baseball to underserved
communities around the world. Pitch In For Baseball is the central organization
for the collection and distribution of new and “gently used” youth baseball
equipment. The organization’s tag line is “let your equipment play extra innings!”
Organizational History: Pitch In For Baseball was created in 2005 and is based
outside of Philadelphia, PA.
Charitable Status: Pitch In For Baseball is a 501(c) 3 charitable organization. Donations of baseball equipment and money made to Pitch In For Baseball are tax-deductible to the fullest extent of the law.

Types of Equipment Collected: Pitch In For Baseball is currently collecting the
following new and “gently used” youth baseball and softball equipment:
gloves, catcher’s equipment, aluminum baseball bats, batting helmets, baseballs.
Pitch In For Baseball is also accepting youth rubber baseball cleats, bases,
pitching machines, teaching aids such as batting tees, and full team sets of
uniforms and hats.
Financial Support: We need donations of money in addition to equipment.
These funds help us store and ship baseball equipment to children across
the globe as well as purchase new equipment as needed. Here are some
ideas how your league or team can participate.
$100 – Honor a special coach or volunteer
$250 – Sponsor a domestic program shipment
$1,000 – Sponsor an international program shipment
