WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. (Feb. 20, 2008) – Ace Hardware is teaming up with Little League Baseball and Softball in Williamsport, Pa., for the fourth consecutive year to pitch in and fix up Little League fields through the Ace Hardware Little League “Fields for the Future” Program.

This year marks the fifth year of Ace Hardware as “the official hardware supplier of Little League.

Ace Hardware is inviting local leagues to nominate a Little League field in their community that is in need of a field makeover. Ace Hardware will accept nominees postmarked by March 19, and received by March 21, 2008. One field will be selected from each of the Little League’s five regions in the U.S (Central, East, South, Southwest and West).

Winning locations will receive $2,500 worth of Ace product and a day’s work from Ace’s “Helpful Hardware Man” Lou Manfredini and the “Lou Crew” to beautify and repair the fields. In addition, Ace will donate $2,500 worth of Ace gift cards to each of the winning leagues.

A nomination form and complete list of rules can be found here.

Entries will be judged by Ace Hardware representatives and field makeovers will be awarded between April 30 and August 31, 2008.
