International Tournament Tip of the Day – Tip 11

By way of vote at the 2007 Little League International Congress, it was decided that an individual who manages in a separate youth baseball or softball program is eligible to be appointed to manage or coach a tournament team in the Little League program.
The rule change removes the need to request a waiver for managers and coaches who are also managers or coaches in other youth baseball programs not affiliated with Little League. The local Little League board of directors retains the ability not to appoint Tournament managers and coaches as it sees fit.
