Peter J. McGovern Little League Museum To Host Third Annual Monster Mash Baseball Bash

WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. (Oct. 10, 2007) – The Peter J. McGovern Little League Museum, 525 Route 15 Highway, South Williamsport, will host a night of games, crafts, stories and haunted fun from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 27.

Proceeds from the third annual Monster Mash Baseball Bash, sponsored by the Iota Mu Chapter of Lycoming College’s Alpha Xi Delta sorority, will benefit the First Book Foundation. A national non-profit organization, the First Book Foundation encourages children from low-income families to read by providing free books.

Children 13 and younger who are accompanied by adults are invited. The admission fee is $3 per child, with adults and children two and under admitted free. Children may come in costume.

For more information, contact the Little League museum at 570-326-3607; or e-mail: Stephanie Ly at: lystep@lycoming.edu.
