New Era Cap Named the Official Cap of Little League Baseball
DERBY, N.Y. (August 14, 2000) - New Era Cap Company, Inc., the nation’s leading manufacturer and marketer of baseball style caps, has announced it has become the exclusive official cap of Little League Baseball Inc. This agreement also includes New Era’s renewed selection as the exclusive on-field, uniform cap of the Little League World Series.
Since 1920, New Era has been supplying baseball caps to youth baseball teams across the nation and around the world including Little League Baseball teams. This agreement encourages member leagues to support Little League Baseball by wearing high-quality, big league branded New Era caps on the field of play. Included in the partnership is support for Little League Baseball’s major events and education programs. New Era’s sales of Little League licensed caps assists Little League Baseball, Inc. in keeping league charter fees at only $13.00 per team.
