Jennifer Colvin Promoted To Senior Assistant Director For League And District Operations At Little League Southern Region

WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. – Jennifer Colvin has been named senior assistant director for league and district operations at the Little League Baseball Southern Region Headquarters in St. Petersburg, Fla., it was announced by Stephen D. Keener, president and chief executive officer of Little League Baseball, Incorporated.

Ms. Colvin was first employed at the Southern Region in 1999 as assistant director. She has served Little League as a volunteer in a variety of capacities including softball coach, umpire, Assistant District Administrator, District Administrator and Regional Tournament Director. 

Before coming to Little League, Ms. Colvin served as Assistant Women’s Softball Coach at Johnson & Wales University, Rhode Island. In her new capacity with Little League, she will assume duties involving more direct contacts with local leagues and volunteer district administrators. Ted Trivigno, regional director for the Southern Region since 1993, will focus on the operational aspects of the Southern Region Headquarters facility. 

“Jennifer’s dedicated volunteer experience with Little League Baseball, coupled with her professional experience, makes her an excellent choice,” said Mr. Keener. “We’re pleased that we were able to provide her with this promotion. Jennifer and Ted work very well together, and we’re looking forward to the continued growth of our Southern Region.”
