Teeball on the South Lawn September 7, 2003

The group was housed at Little League Baseball International for two days during its trip to the White House in Washington, D.C.

Linda Cohn of ESPN handles the play-by-play on the public address system for the ninth Tee Ball on the South Lawn game of President Bush’s administration.

USA Softball pitcher Jennie Finch attended the game, providing color commentary on the public address system. Kerri Strug, 1996 Olympic Gymnastics gold medallist, attended the game.
Two-time Olympic Softball gold medallist Dot Richardson, one of the greatest softball pitchers in history, attended the game and coached third base. “Raven,” star of the Disney Channel’s That’s So Raven, sang the National Anthem.
