Deadline looms for Little League Baseball World Series ticket requests…

but terrace seating always is available

WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. (Feb. 18, 2004) – Only a few days remain before the drawing by lottery for tickets to the World Championship game of the 2004 Little League Baseball World Series at Howard J. Lamade Stadium.

As always, admission is free to all games of the Little League Baseball World Series, but tickets for the championship game on Aug. 29 may only be obtained by the general public through a lottery system. Requests for tickets must be received at Little League International by the close of business on Feb. 27.

The dates for the 2004 Little League Baseball World Series will be August 20-29. The game schedule will be announced in June.

Those desiring tickets for the World Championship Game should prepare a letter requesting up to four tickets (maximum) for the final game. The letter must be received at Little League by the close of business on Friday (Feb. 27) to be considered. Requests should be delivered to: Attention – World Series Tickets, at Little League Baseball International in South Williamsport. Telephone, fax, and e-mail requests will not be considered. Please be sure to include a return address. Requests received after Feb. 27 will not be considered.

Little League International will notify (by mail) those individuals selected to receive tickets from the lottery process, as well as those who did not. However, those who are not chosen to receive tickets through the lottery may attend the final game, as tickets are not required for watching the game from the terraced hills beyond the outfield fence at Howard J. Lamade Stadium. While tickets for certain areas of the stadiums are required for the 31 games leading up to the World Championship, they are not required for other sections for most games, and are never required for the terraces.
