Two Book Signings to Be Held During Little League Baseball World Series in Williamsport, Pa.

WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. (Aug. 15, 2005) – Author Margot Theis-Raven, and author Dr. Vincent M. Fortanasce, will conduct separate book signings at the Peter J. McGovern Little League Museum in South Williamsport, Pa., during the 59th Little League Baseball World Series, Aug, 19-28.

Ms. Theis-Raven, author of “Let Them Play,” a story about the 1955 Cannon Street/YMCA Little League team, will stage a book signing on Saturday, Aug. 20, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Dr. Fortanasce will sign his book, “Life Lessons from Little League Revisited: A Guide for Parents and Coaches,” on Thursday, Aug. 25, at 2 p.m.

These events will take place in the lobby of the Peter J. McGovern Little League Museum. Both books will be available for purchase during the Little League Baseball World Series.

Little League Baseball and Softball is the world’s largest organized youth sports program, with nearly 2.7 million players and 1 million adult volunteers in every U.S. state and scores of other countries.
