2005 Little League Softball World Series General Information
As always, admission is free and tickets are not required. The main stadium seats 3,000 fans with portable seating to accommodate 3,000 more.

From I-5 northbound, take Highway 217 west. Take the Greenburg Road exit and turn right. At Greenburg and Hall Boulevard, go straight onto Oleson Road. Turn right on Vermont, then left on Shattuck Road. Alpenrose is up the hill on the left. From I-5 southbound, take the Multnomah exit to 45th Street. Turn right on 45th and then left on Vermont. Turn right on Shattuck Road Alpenrose is up the hill on the left. From Highway 26 eastbound (Sunset Highway), take the Highway 217 exit (69a). Take the Beaverton/Canyon Road exit and turn left onto SW Beaverton-Hillsdale Highway. Turn right onto Shattuck Road. Alpenrose is on the right.
A wide variety of food and refreshments are available, and Little League Softball World Series souvenirs are available. Pin trading is encouraged with a special area designated for this purpose. Fans are encouraged to visit the sponsors area for special mementos and pricing specials throughout the week.
The final three games of the Little League Softball World Series are scheduled to be televised live nationally on ESPN2. The semifinals will be televised at 7 and 9:30 p.m. on Aug. 16, and the final game will be televised at 9:30 p.m. on Aug. 18 (ESPN). All times are Eastern. At this time, no other television coverage of games is planned, although Little League International continues to urge networks to carry the games of all World Series tournaments. We also expect extensive media coverage from newspapers, radio stations and television stations.
