The championship game of the Big League Softball World Series is scheduled to be televised nationally, on a tape-delayed basis, on Aug. 29, at 5 p.m. (ET) on ESPN2. At this time, no other television coverage of games is planned, although Little League International continues to urge networks to carry the games of all World Series tournaments. We also expect extensive media coverage from newspapers, radio stations and television stations.
Other events during the week of the series include opening ceremonies, picnic, fun night for the players, awards banquet, parade of champions and spirit competition.
