Tickets, Parking and Other Policies for the 2005 Little League Baseball Southwestern Regional Championship

The Little League Baseball Southwestern Regional Championship game will be played on Saturday, August 13, at 8 p.m., at Marvin Norcross Stadium. The stadium is located at the site of the Little League Southwestern Regional Headquarters in Waco, Texas.

Tickets
As always, admission to Little League games is free. However, for the Southwestern Regional Championship game, all persons entering the complex must have a ticket in their possession. Tickets are printed specifically for the person picking them up, and are NOT transferable.

Fans must be in their seats by 7 p.m. on Aug. 13.

All tickets for this event have been reserved or distributed, and are no longer available. The game will be televised live on ESPN at 9 p.m. Eastern Time; 8 p.m. Central Time.

Directions/Parking
There will be no public parking at the Southwestern Regional Headquarters Complex for this event. However, off-site parking and shuttle buses are available.

Fans should park at Baylor University’s Turner Athletic Complex lots (Baylor Ballpark and Getterman Stadium). Tickets will be checked at that site as well as at the Southwestern Regional Headquarters.

  • From the north, drive south on I-35, take University Parks Drive exit and turn east (left) onto University Parks Drive. The Turner Athletic Complex is on the left before reaching the Ferrell Center.
  • From the south, drive north on I-35, take University Parks Drive exit and turn east (right) onto University Parks Drive. The Turner Athletic Complex is on the left before reaching the Ferrell Center.
  • From the west, drive east on Hwy. 84 to Hwy. 6/Loop 340. Turn east (right) and take Hwy. 6/Loop 340 to I-35. Turn north (left) on I-35, take the University Parks Drive exit and turn east (right) onto University Parks Drive. The Turner Athletic Complex is on the left before reaching the Ferrell Center.
  • From the east, drive west on Hwy. 84 to I-35. Turn south on I-35 (left), take the University Parks Drive exit and turn east (left) onto University Parks Drive. The Turner Athletic Complex is on the left before reaching the Ferrell Center.
  • From the northwest, take Hwy. 6 to I-35. Turn north (left), take the University Parks Drive exit and turn east (right) onto University Parks Drive. The Turner Athletic Complex is the left before reaching the Ferrell Center.
  • From the southwest, take Hwy. 6 to Bus. 77 exit. Bus 77 becomes LaSalle. Turn west (right) onto University Parks Drive. The Turner Athletic Complex is on the right after passing the Ferrell Center.

Shuttle
A free shuttle will bring fans from the Baylor lots to the game site from 5 p.m. to 6:45 p.m., and will begin making return trips to the Baylor lots starting at approximately 9 p.m. Any person boarding the buses at this site must have a ticket.

Little League Policies
In keeping with Little League’s policy of setting a good example, tobacco use of any kind is prohibited on the complex. Alcohol is not permitted on the complex.

Coolers, tarps, tents, food items and large bags are not permitted on the complex. Cans, bottles, and containers holding liquids of any kind, are not permitted to be brought onto the complex. Note: Containers of liquid for infants (i.e., baby bottles, formula) are permitted, but are subject to inspection.

When entering the complex, fans will notice a higher level of security than in previous years. All persons entering must pass through a metal detection device. Any belongings are subject to inspection.

It is strongly suggested that fans arrive early. Please be patient, as some minor delays can be expected.

Banners and signs (including “K’s” and all other types of signs) must not be attached to the stadiums (poles, fences, screens, etc.) in any way. If used, signs or banners must be held by the fan(s) and not free-standing. Signs and banners must not obstruct the view of any spectator, and must be in good taste. Little League reserves the right to remove any sign or banner that it deems offensive or inappropriate for a Little League game.

Noisemakers of any kind are not permitted on the Little League Southwestern Regional complex.

Anyone found to be using a “laser” type pointer will be removed from the premises.

The Little League International complex is private property. Little League reserves the right to remove any person or persons who cause a disturbance of any kind. Those demonstrating without written permission from Little League International may be removed from the premises.

Distribution of literature, posters, leaflets, placards or any other item, without written permission from Little League International, is prohibited.

Anyone who attempts to sell any item or service, or conduct any other business on the complex property must do so only with written permission from Little League International. If anyone approaches you about selling a product or service, and you have reason to believe they may not have permission from Little League International, please let us know.
